Song: I thought this was suppose to be fun
Album: 11 Headed Hydra – The Great Coffee Experiment

And I thought this was suppose to be fun
But here I am just fighting with everyone
Arguing over money and foolish ego
What happened to the love?
Ain’t we all people?

We used to hang out all night, freestyling in the car
Now we just see each other at shows like we’re stars
But we ain’t stars, we just some normal human beings
Acting like peasants, when we all could be kings
Trying to act famous don’t really pay the bills
So I’m drowning in debt, trying to float on with some pills
And we all got vices, and we all got escapes
And we all got prayers that got answered too late
And nothing make me happy like walking in the rain
It may sound depressing but it washes away the pain
And it’s raining right now and the sun ain’t even up yet
But here I am with my memories getting upset
Mailbox full of letters saying that I sold out
Hell hasn’t froze yet but it’s getting cold out
Most these people robots, most these people clones
3 million in my city and I still feel alone

And I thought this was suppose to be fun
But here I am just fighting with everyone
Arguing over money and foolish ego
What happened to the love?
Ain’t we all people?

Walking all night thinking it’ll solve my problems
But when I get home, they’re still there I still got em
I go to work smiling, like everything’s fine
They ask “how you doing” I reply with a lie
It’s like writing ‘it don’t matter’ on the bandage of a wound
Or taking off the stitches on a cut too soon
I’m trying to wake up 2 hours past noon
I feel like I’m all along trying to breathe on the moon
I got too much expectations and too little patience
Trying to make it to the stairs but there’s chains in the basement
I got the keys to my problems but I hid all the locks
Everyone’s so narrow minded, full of condescending talk
I wanna call em hypocrites but then I’d be a hypocrite
Like a suicidal person who won’t slit their wrists
Yes I have sadness, I’m just like any other man
I say I’m not happy, but they don’t wanna understand

And I thought this was suppose to be fun
But here I am just fighting with everyone
Arguing over money and foolish ego
What happened to the love?
Ain’t we all people?

Song: A rant for the lonely ear
Album: 11 Headed Hydra – The Great Coffee Experiment

This is a rant for the lonely ear
I’m a cremated puppet on the hand of fear
My veins are streams, I’m Pinocchio with arteries
Look at you crying in the mirror, like poor martyr me
Get a life and some confidence I’m sorry commonsense but I lost my consciousness
Positivity in this world is fiction, and I don’t write fiction
Put a non in front of that, suffering is this planets description
How much acid do I need to see a world full of peace?
I see John Merrick everywhere with a bag over his head for release
You call it greed, I call it the human disease
He writes on dead postcards with a deleted mouth
Invade, damage, occupy
If they don’t listen, tell them you’ll solve them problems and lie
Bed bugs on death beds are maggots
Watch them gather around and eat flesh like cabbage
The wolf brigade’s hiding in the sewer
Howling at an LED light, they make children look like swiss cheese
You’re in the lair of the worm that’s white
When you stay still, you become food
It’s either become a sculpture or make moves
I’m in a jump room trying to get back to Mars
This city’s an awful hush, full of cave men with cars
I sing songs to keep me sane
You do drugs, we’re both the same
I promised my heart wouldn’t harden like a statue
But Medusa stares at it, every time I look at you
He’s got a shotgun, you’ve got a briefcase
Go ahead and ask Truman, a bomb starts with a handshake
I’m tired of trying to rhyme words together just to rhyme words together
Cause it seems no matter what I say, things just stay the same
Everyone sits around and say how nothing goes their way
But all they do is complain, they never make a change
I see starving artists, sending their food back to the waiter
Blaming everyone for their problems, calling god a hater
Thinking the democrats will save them
There’s metal swans in the sky and they’re heading south
It’s the same thing as having a musket in your mouth
Top of the food chain but you’re afraid of a wasp
It makes about as much sense as killing for the cross
Kundalini’s rising from my red to my crown
I’m breathing in the ethers, hoping reality will drown
I’m eating half of my food, waiting for DEFCON 1
My city will be the house of a million rising suns
Everything’s a diary, from the margins to the footnotes
The good freeze to death while the crooks have coats
I’m roasting marshmallows over the bridges I’ve burned
Let’s throw another friendship on the fire and discussed what we’ve learned

Song: Peter Venkman's Vogon Trap
Album: 11 Headed Hydra – The Great Coffee Experiment

Call me Peter Venkman I’m with Ghost Dog shanking
God on the jumbo-tron, John Merrick in the mirror
There’s angels in the snow and mushrooms in the stars
Psilocybin electricity trees are teleports
I’m bull riding the bomb out the plane
If you think this world’s real then tell me who’s sane?
The bullfighter’s more afraid of the crowd than the bull
Bullets tear flesh but rejection kills souls
The cars been running in the garage all night
But I’m wearing an oxygen mask saying who wants a light?
Wrinkles are the scars of happiness
And this city’s a steaming iron in my face
You will get the back of the pencil
If you refuse to be like all of these stencils
I put on my law suit and backstroke through bleach
We wouldn’t need weapons if we didn’t have speech
If you don’t understand then get the Rosetta
You better hold on tight like a note from Etta
Who will plant crops while you write your poems?
One man’s heaven is another’s hell home
Hind sights not 20/20 hind sights blind
The past don’t repeat, we keep hitting rewind
One day as a lion is better than 100 as a sheep
But after 24 hours you can’t fight or speak
People want more than bread, they want purpose
If you want power, then don’t make them feel worthless
Burning books, leads to burning people
If we all burn opinions, well never be equal
We speak with prayers and get answered with bullets
The demons are eating bloody sundaes while the angels forfeit
This is an inward scream a bent scapegoat
Blame did a U-turn to vacate my throat
I’m looking for a cure like Robert Smith
But death is Santa Claus and we’re all on his list
This is the Cold War where the nukes drop
There’s no veterans only Reagans and Gorbachevs
You’re on a pale blue dot, waiting to get rich
A lottery ticket’s a receipt for a bitch
Gather all your friends with words, signs and sticks
And demand a change from these Adam Smith hypocrites
Don’t cross the steams, through the Vogons in the traps
Call me Peter Venkman, here’s your money back
The ghosts of the past always relapse

Artist: Time
Song: Jerry
Album: 11 Headed Hydra – The Great Coffee Experiment

He is not dead, today is not real
I am not sad, I will not feel
He is not dead, today is not real
I am not sad, I will not feel

The summer trash is rotten why didn’t the grass just die
I held this in till autumn with the swatted flies
I’m not mad at god, I don’t blame him
I’m mad a nature, red ferns and geraniums
You didn’t want to go but I carried you in
Now you’re with eternity I guess you’re married to him
You were cremated, you didn’t get a grave
But what’s a body matter when the soul escapes?
No one said goodbye, they just let you go
I guess the lesson is learned cause you never know
I wrote this in cursive, I spoke it with the CAPS LOCK
I didn’t wanna cry and be soft, so I laughed it off
Actions speak louder than words, I guess that’s true
Cause you never said a word and I respected you
No inheritance, no coffin, no relative
Just a seizure in the back and a maybe he’ll live
But it’s all right, I’m glad that you’re free now
No more tumors and no more denial
I was the last one to see you, felt like the grim reaper
Until I let go of the guilt and saw our love was deeper
Everything happens for a reason, it was meant to be
It’ll all make sense eventually
Sometimes I wanna bring you back, but I don’t want that
Cause it would happen again, all things must pass
If this is a dream world then I guess we were never here
Delete the duality, there’s only heaven no fear
I bet you can see everything forever up there
I’m seeing stormy days now but the weather will clear
I took you for granted as you came and went
But I wanna say thanks for the time we spent
If I didn’t say I missed you that would be another lie
So save me some room, I’ll see you on the other side

He is not dead, today is not real
I am not sad, I will not feel
He is not dead, today is not real
I am not sad, I will not feel

Song: Back To Fantastic
Album: 11 Headed Hydra – The Great Coffee Experiment

Hitch your wagon to a star
You will go very far
Be who you are with no embarrassment
Welcome to the great coffee experiment
Hitch your wagon to a star
You will go very far
Fantastic reality is where you are
Be who you be with no embarrassment
Welcome to the great coffee experiment

I’m the caffeinated Castaneda swimming in my sweat lodge
We flying over fantastic, turn the jets off
I jumped out the jet with no parachute
Population 7 billion and they all cherish you
It makes it all worth it when I hear the songs I write
Helped someone through a lonely night and saved their life
There’s no poison here, no condescending gossip
Just imagination and creation, no need for logic
In this land you’re content, all your goals are completed
Every grudge you’ve ever had and bad memories deleted
Best thing about it, you ain’t lying or in denial
Nothing bad ever happened, high five to my inner child
Nothing unreal exists, nothing real can be threatened
Delete the duality, now there’s no need for weapons
Fantastic was a dream, disguised as an escape
Now I’m living here, even when I’m wide awake

Hitch your wagon to a star
You will go very far
Be who you are with no embarrassment
Welcome to the great coffee experiment
Hitch your wagon to a star
You will go very far
Fantastic reality is where you are
Be who you be with no embarrassment
Welcome to the great coffee experiment

I’m the caffeinated Kafka morphing to a cockroach
I could shapeshift from a crow to a wolf
There’s no migraines here, no cancer, no diabetes
No suicide, my depression signed a lifetime treaty
I’m in a pink UFO flying over Mars’ mountains
Every corner there’s a diner, coffees coming out drinking fountains
I’m in Paris with Denzel, we go way back
Now I got Thom Yorke and Andre 3 Stacks on the same track
Got a sold out show on one of Saturn’s moons
Parlay on Neptune and I’m back by noon
In this place, Sudan and Burma are free
There’s no political prisoners or sex slavery
Zimbabwe’s free, there’s no Mugabe
Murder and rape are extinct, there’s respect for the body
Espresso in my vein, fantastic’s where I went
Welcome to the great coffee experiment

Hitch your wagon to a star
You will go very far
Be who you are with no embarrassment
Welcome to the great coffee experiment
Hitch your wagon to a star
You will go very far
Fantastic reality is where you are
Be who you be with no embarrassment
Welcome to the great coffee experiment

Song: Killing Buildings
Album: 11 Headed Hydra – The Great Coffee Experiment

I ain’t never say something, I never wanted too
So listen to my words, my tongue’s bulletproof
My past is how I left it, my memory wrecked
Hit 7 on my inner child, delete the message
The city’s full of pills, like it’s raining skittles
I see sinuses and neon lights it’s a riddle
The answer is to run away and stay focused
Strobe lights and liquor, hypnotize the hopeless
Depression’s like a labyrinth and there ain’t no bread crumbs
And the doctor only got a prescription suggestion
God got divorced and I’m one of his stepsons
Earth is hell, forgiveness is the lesson
One of my close friends, comes to every show
I knew he was drunk that night but I let him go
He got another DUI, now he’s on parole
I feel like it’s my fault, what happened to my soul?

I built these skyscrapers, just to watch them fall
Now my city’s in ruin, is it my fault?
Lost in a maze, surrounded by walls
Never knew a word, could make my world dissolve

Forget the failure, I’m drowning discouragement
Took everything that burned me and learned from it
My friend called, said he bout to do something stupid
Like slamming his car over family, love, and music
Can’t blame him though, he’s not the only one to lose it
That’s why I don’t have a gun, cause I’d probably use it
Every decision that we make is a path that we chose
But I guess I built a city out of dead end roads
My life’s a sitcom, I’m waiting for my commercial break
I keep making the same mistakes, it’s time to make the circle straight
I feel like I’m the reason for everyone’s problems
Taught my friend to steal, now he’s in jail for robbing
Sometimes the stress and the guilt is so heavy
That I need to use denial and some liquor as a levee
But time’s God’s stitches, everyday we heal
I guess I got to be the change I want to see in the world

I built these skyscrapers, just to watch them fall
Now my city’s in ruin, is it my fault?
Lost in a maze, surrounded by walls
Never knew a word, could make my world dissolve

Song: The Hunter (Feat. Robin Walker)
Album: 11 Headed Hydra – The Great Coffee Experiment

(Time)
Look at them now, don’t you see them
2 skeletons, dying in the PM
Looking for the sunset, never really found it
2 dead crows, god got grounded
Cut the carcass, it’s full of plastic
She cries gasoline and speaks in matches
We pray for the trash and eat microchips
As we’re living in a free world comes out a psycho’s lips

Are you there? Don’t you see me?
I’m not a cell phone, I’m not a TV
I’m made of flesh, these veins are wires
No truth in me, I was born a liar
I am not an android, I am not a robot
I don’t got a hard drive, my body’s got a slow heart
Don’t pray for me, I’m not evil
I just don’t relate to these people
My heart supernova’d long ago
That’s really ash, it never was snow
These aren’t tears, the ceiling is leaking
Is that you, the door is creaking
She’s a poltergeist who’s cold at night
She knows little green men with moldavite
They’re coming for you, they said they built me
They’re dressed like crows, they smell so filthy
I hope you’re happy, you’re so in love
I didn’t write this in blood, I wrote this in mud
The moon will erase it, like you too
When god choked, the sky turned blue
Now we’re alone, we eat out the trash
That’s not a scream, it’s really a laugh
Baptized in bullets, the hunter shoots
Eyes that don’t blink, see the truth

Song: If Hamlin’s was open 24 hours
Album: 11 Headed Hydra – The Great Coffee Experiment

While this diner’s a sanctuary an insane asylum
With a soundtrack composed of Tom Petty and Frankie Lymon
The cream in my coffee, makes a nebula galaxy
I’m drinking constellations that used to shine on Galilee
The waitress is pissed because she ran out of ones
And the only appetizer you get is the last customer’s crumbs
But anything is better than being at work or home
Cause you can mumble to yourself in a corner all alone

It goes one for the pancakes
Two for the omelets
Three for the fake handshakes
And four for the vomit

Staring at a black and white photo of New York
In walks the boys in blue, they order some pork
Staring out the window, it’s a moving painting
Full of people walking fast, as the suns fainting
So much coffee, I’m writing a polygraph test
Lying so much, I’m like Hoover at his best
This city’s so smothering, this city’s so tall
I feel like taking my car and slamming it into a wall

It goes one for the pancakes
Two for the omelets
Three for the fake handshakes
And four for the vomit

The leaves are falling, like its raining black and gold
I take a bite of my home fries as souls get sold
Oxycotton takes another life as doctors get paid
Another artist lost, another poet in a grave
We say hey how you doing but everyone’s depressed
Asking rhetorical questions, not listening for the yes
And if you answer with truth, they’ll just call you negative
Were we made to be the walking dead or made to live?

It goes one for the pancakes
Two for the omelets
Three for the fake handshakes
And four for the vomit

Another warm up please, make sure my mug is never empty
I’m chained to a city with drugs and doubt to tempt me
I met a three winged seraphim in Reno
He said my life would end on a high note, right side of the keyboard
I’m sitting here thinking of a better way to die than chemo
While I’m heading to Hades, with Charon rowing my dream boat
It’s too bad this waitress doesn’t get psychiatric pay
Cause she’s a therapist with caffeinated loonies all day

It goes one for the pancakes
Two for the omelets
Three for the fake handshakes
And four for the vomit

If Hamlin’s was open 24 forever 365
I’d put DMT creamers in my coffee for a geometric ride
Codeine dreams, inside my head there’s a pinecone
Centipedes turn to red dragons flying in my home
You woke up in Golden and thought you were dead
But it was the psychobilin mixing with the pineal in your head
Let the paranoia pulsate, the best drug is fear
You thought you were dating the devil but she’s standing in the mirror

It goes one for the pancakes
Two for the omelets
Three for the fake handshakes
And four for the vomit

Nicotine painted ceiling, ketchup stains on the wall
There’s a pair of hooves next to him in the bathroom stall
Coffee causes delirium, he actually thinks he’s happy
The demon killed the angel on his should, now they’re both laughing
The bill’s on the table, she dotted her I’s with hearts
The T’s are crucifixes, call it pink collar art
Old gossip on the table, a dead man’s ash tray
They’re in an insane asylum but the door says cafĂ©

It goes one for the pancakes
Two for the omelets
Three for the fake handshakes
And four for the vomit
